Grameen Trust Representative
Tasmina Rahman, a microfinance and social business practitioner, joined Grameen Trust (GT) as its Managing Director on September 1, 2018. Since 1994, she has worked with Grameen Trust, which has helped implement over 153 Grameen replication programs in 42 countries and provided capital support to approximately 20,000 new entrepreneurs by June 2021.
She has extensive experience in Grameen Trust replication programs worldwide based on the Grameen Bank Approach (GBA). She has participated in various workshops and training programs on various issues related to microcredit and social business in different countries, as well as monitoring and evaluation visits to microcredit projects managed, owned and/or operated by GT worldwide.
She is a board member of various microfinance organizations and Social Business entities in Bangladesh and China.
