BIMAS – AML-FT Mission (Kenya)

Mission objectives:

BIMAS Kenya Ltd, a Kenyan limited liability company, is a Tier 2 microfinance institution. A recognized and growing player, BIMAS offers financial services, particularly credit, to micro-entrepreneurs through group and individual lending methods. BIMAS's broad objective is to contribute to sustainable economic growth and employment in the rural sector, resulting in greater social welfare and increased incomes for the rural population in Kenya. As of October 2021, BIMAS had an outstanding portfolio of €7.8 million from 18,970 active borrowers.
