Mission objective:
As part of the strengthening of its activities and procedures, GRAINE Sarl wishes to implement an appropriate policy in terms of operational risk management, including the development of procedures relating to the principles and guidelines of risk management.
The objective of the mission is to enable:
- Analyze the internal context (internal procedures, etc.) in order to assess the effectiveness of the organizational framework;
- Make amendments (if necessary) to existing risk management and management procedures;
- Strengthen internal employees to better guide them in identifying potential risks, to enable them to determine which risks are essential to achieve primary objectives before the risks affect operational activities while keeping other risks under control.

Please note that this mission is planned to be carried out in threes since a mission on financial risks is also planned, as well as a mission on the AML-CFT prevention system.
Expert profile:
Please note that a selection process will take place, with interviews organized and conducted by the Grameen Crédit Agricole Foundation. For this assignment, we are looking for an expert with the following skills:
- At least 4 years of experience in operational risk management
- Appetite for inclusive finance, resulting in increased curiosity for the specificities of the sector and the desire to adapt banking standards to it
- Previous experience in the microfinance sector is a plus
- Be a force for proposal
- Be pragmatic and rigorous
- Listening skills
Calendar :
MISSION PREPARATION
- Signing of the agreement and preparation (calls to be planned with the organization, documents to be read before the start of the mission)
- Mission preparation by the Solidarity Banker, GRAINE and the Grameen Crédit Agricole Foundation (5 days spread over a period of 1 month). The selected candidate and GRAINE managers will be required to discuss the terms of reference and adjust them together in order to best prepare the mission.
REMOTE MISSION
- Due to the security context, the Solidarity Banker's main mission will be carried out remotely (10 days). This part of the mission will take place during the week, during normal working hours, based on the principle of skills sponsorship. The selected person will be put in contact with GRAINE managers to organize the mission schedule and the exchanges, which will take place via Teams, Zoom, or any other chosen means.
- The Solidarity Banker will also be put in contact with the other people in charge of the two other missions set up as part of the support provided by the Grameen Crédit Agricole Foundation to GRAINE. This teamwork aims to facilitate exchanges with the partner but also to optimize the results of the different missions, particularly in relation to related subjects.
MISSION DELIVERABLES
- Sending of mission deliverables by the Solidarity Banker within two to three weeks after the field mission.
