Berger Dairy – Finance & Governance (Senegal)

Mission objectives:

The Grameen Crédit Agricole Foundation has been a partner of Laiterie du Berger (LdB), a social enterprise founded in 2006 by Bagore Bathily, since 2010. LDB fights poverty by building a local dairy sector (from production to distribution) in harmony with the environment, thereby promoting healthy eating for as many people as possible.

The Solidarity Banker's mission was to support Bagore Bathily in structuring financing and in considering the governance to be put in place to ensure the development of the Dairy.
