Mission objectives:
Lazika Capital is a microfinance institution established in 2000 by Oxfam Great Britain to facilitate access to financial services for low- and middle-income entrepreneurs. It is headquartered in Zugdidi and provides financial services to low-income individuals, smallholder farmers, and microentrepreneurs. The organization operates through 18 branches in western Georgia. 70% of its clients are rural.
As part of the Solidarity Bankers by CA program, the Foundation provided additional support to Lazika Capital through a technical assistance mission led by two Solidarity Bankers, in the field of marketing.
