RENACA – Mission to strengthen cybersecurity as part of digital transformation

Mission objective:

For several years now, RENACA has been implementing a vast digital finance project. This project is structured around three phases:

1. Development of a mobile collection application for its field agents (primarily the APEs) to enable them to carry out operations (savings, tontine, loan repayments) in the field;
2. Offering disbursement and refund services for customers via an electronic wallet in USSD technology with a telecom operator;
3. Establishment of a network of third-party agents and an internet application offering various digital products and services.

To date, the first two phases have been completed or are nearing completion. As part of the finalization of this second phase, RENACA intends to conduct a diagnostic of the system developed and plans to make the appropriate adjustments in terms of cybersecurity.
