Mission objective:
As part of its operational organization, UNACREP has identified the need to improve its HR policy by:
- strengthening the internal training program for employees and members of governance;
- strengthening the performance evaluation system for staff other than branch managers and credit officers;
- by implementing staff satisfaction surveys to better understand their expectations and needs. This can be coupled with the implementation of a formalized staff evaluation system as well as a career management plan to exploit the skills and potential of employees, while identifying and meeting their expectations.
Therefore, UNACREP wished to benefit from the support of the Grameen Crédit Agricole Foundation to strengthen its training system and develop employee evaluation and satisfaction procedures, in line with its needs.
Please note: Two missions are proposed to cover all the needs as indicated above. This mission proposal concerns only point 1. The second mission, which is the subject of specific Terms of Reference, will be carried out at a later stage, in relation to the results of this mission.
Expert profile:
Please note that a selection process will take place, with interviews organized and conducted by the Grameen Crédit Agricole Foundation. For this assignment, we are looking for an expert with the following skills:
- Solid experience in human resources management
- Experience in training in the field of Human Resources
- Interest in inclusive finance, with increased curiosity about the specificities of the sector
- Previous experience in the microfinance sector is a plus
- Listening skills
- Knowing how to be a force for proposal
- Be pragmatic and rigorous
Calendar :
MISSION PREPARATION
- Signing of the agreement and preparation (calls to be planned with the organization, documents to be read before the start of the mission)
- Mission preparation by the Solidarity Banker, UNACREP and the Grameen Crédit Agricole Foundation (5 days spread over a period of 1 month). The selected candidate and UNACREP managers will be required to discuss the terms of reference and adjust them together in order to best prepare the mission.
FIELD MISSION
- 10-day field mission. Please note that the dates of the field mission are freely decided by the expert, in agreement with the institution, based on the professional constraints of both parties.
- The field mission will take place primarily in Porto Novo, Benin. Agency visits may be arranged to meet other staff members of the institution.
MISSION DELIVERABLES
- Sending of mission deliverables by the Solidarity Banker within two to three weeks after the field mission.
