It is a great honor and pleasure for me to present the first annual report of our Grameen Crédit Agricole Foundation, born from the shared desire of Professor Yunus, founder of Grameen Bank and 2006 Nobel Peace Prize winner, and the leaders of the Crédit Agricole Group. This shared desire is rooted in a core of values shared by Grameen, a pioneer in microcredit, and Crédit Agricole, born in the 19th century from the peasant cooperative movement.
