The Grameen Crédit Agricole Foundation's mission is to combat poverty by promoting social impact entrepreneurship. We finance and provide technical assistance to microfinance institutions (MFIs) so that they can themselves finance income-generating activities for the millions of beneficiaries they work with. We are also active shareholders in so-called "social businesses," primarily in the fields of agro-processing and financial services.
